Color Run 2014!

The first weekend in August, a group of us did a color run 5k! Similar to the one we did last year...just a slightly different group of people! But still so much fun!! It was a beautiful morning in Denver, so the run was actually pretty easy! Really...these pics are all you need to know...

Dinner out and hiking

Sometimes, it's the simplest of weekends that make the best ones.  A few weeks ago, mid August, Jay and I had a groupon to use at one of the Brazilian steakhouses here in Denver. So... We turned it into a lovely date night!! We headed out for drinks at the new Terminal Bar before dinner...very cool place.

On Saturday, we got together with the lovely miss Claire for a hike.  She's here in Colorado for a bit and I LOVE it!! I miss having her around.

Estes weekend

Two weekends ago, the girls and I headed up to Estes Park for a girls weekend. It was technically my bachelorette weekend, but in reality it was a fun girls weekend!

Anne found a cute (although somewhat creepy at night) cabin for us to stay in that looked down on downtown Estes. Very cool location.  Heather and I headed up Friday night and the rest of the girls joined us on Saturday! A beautiful weekend for sure!

Going forward by going backward

I know, I know I haven't posted in a long time. It's not my fault! Seriously...every time I've written a post lately, as soon as I try to add pictures, the whole thing freezes up. It's very annoying. But...I am hoping that this will now work.

So, here goes! I will update about this weekend and go backwards.. Or something :)

On Thursday last week, my beautiful friend Julie had her little girl!! I was lucky enough to go and visit the cute little family in the hospital. Baby and mom are doing fine and are now at home!

Nora Maeve was born on August 28tj at a mere 5lbs!! Isn't she adorable??

I have deemed myself the unofficial "aunt" to little miss Nora. And I can't wait to spoil her!!!
